Through gentle movements, flotation, breath awareness, and guided presence, these sessions support both physical relaxation and emotional release.

Each experience is safely guided by Alice Mazo, certified aquatic therapist, ensuring attentive presence, safety, and care throughout the session.

Janzu

A water-based movement therapy at the surface of the water with brief immersions, where the experience of letting go deepens and the body’s mobility is greatly improved.

Symbolic of a rebirth into a more peaceful dimension of oneself.
Janzu is a guided aquatic bodywork practice focused on deep relaxation, emotional release, and mindful connection with the body through water.
The session begins with a short introduction to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere. Together we enter the warm water and begin with gentle walking, breathing techniques, and light stretching to help the body settle and relax.
Once ready, the Janzu practice begins. While you float supported on the water, the therapist guides you through a continuous sequence of slow and fluid movements — gentle stretches, rhythmic motions, soft massage, and brief immersions.
In water, gravity disappears. Muscles release tension, breathing becomes natural, and the nervous system gradually enters a deep state of calm.
Many participants describe the experience as deeply nurturing, grounding, and peaceful — sometimes even as a symbolic rebirth.
No prior experience is needed.
You simply float, breathe, and allow the water and guided movements to do the work.

A guided meditation experience in warm water, floating in stillness with the head supported by a cushion and floats under the legs.

An immersive moment of weightlessness that invites deep relaxation, inner awareness, and the gentle release of mental and physical tension.
During this session, you float comfortably on the water while being gently supported. With eyes closed, you are invited into a guided meditative state where the body naturally softens and the mind quiets.
The sensation of weightlessness, combined with the warmth of the water, helps calm the nervous system and restore inner balance.
This experience is particularly effective for those seeking deep relaxation, stress relief, and a moment of inner stillness.

Floating meditation

A meditative treatment at the surface of the water that soothes the mind through a vibrational sound atmosphere and relaxes the body through passive mobilization while floating.

Subtle fascial work and acupressure point stimulation help release tensions and restore natural mobility.
While floating gently at the surface of the water, the body is guided through slow passive movements that soften muscular and fascial tension.
The experience is accompanied by a calming sound atmosphere that supports the meditative state and deepens relaxation.
Through subtle mobilizations and acupressure stimulation, this treatment helps unwind accumulated stress while restoring fluidity in the body.
A deeply soothing experience for both body and mind.

I had never heard of Janzu before this experience. I would describe it as a deeply meditative session where you let go of the mind and simply relax while being gently held and guided in the water by Alice. She carefully observes your breathing and adapts the movements to you, so there is nothing to worry about. At moments, it almost feels like a rebirth. Alice is warm, attentive, and very reassuring. She communicated clearly before the session and explained what to expect, which made me feel completely at ease. The session took place in the wonderfully warm pool at the Keight Hilton in Opatija, which made the experience even more special. I especially loved the moments of gentle immersion under the water.
