Recently, a Croatian newspaper published a portrait about my journey - from France to the island of Pašman - and the work I now develop in Croatia through holistic medicine, aquatic therapies and sailing experiences.
The article, published by the Croatian newspaper Zadarski List, tells the story of a life guided by water, curiosity and the search for a more meaningful rhythm of life.
For many years, Croatia has been part of my life. I first arrived as a child in 1996 while sailing with my family along the Adriatic coast. What started as summer adventures gradually became something deeper: a long-lasting connection with the sea, the islands and their way of life.
As I explained in the interview:
“I was born by the sea in France and from an early age felt a deep connection with water.”
Over time, my professional path evolved as well. After training in physiotherapy and later studying Traditional Chinese Medicine for nearly ten years, my work progressively moved toward a more holistic understanding of health - one that includes the body, emotions, lifestyle and environment.

Today, this approach combines several elements: traditional Chinese medicine, bodywork, lifestyle guidance and aquatic therapies inspired by methods such as Janzu, where the body is gently supported and guided in warm water to help the nervous system deeply relax.

As described in the article, the experience of being moved slowly in water often allows the body to release tension naturally, helping mobility return while the mind gradually quiets.
“My work is not about fixing people, but supporting their own capacity for self-regulation and healing.”
This perspective also connects with a growing international field known as Blue Health - the idea that contact with water environments can support both physical and mental well-being.
Living on an island has also become an essential part of this journey. The slower rhythm, closeness to nature and daily presence of the sea create an environment that supports both personal balance and therapeutic work.

At the same time, sailing remains an important dimension of my life. Through Sailorah, immersive sailing experiences explore how life at sea can reconnect people with natural rhythms, presence and simplicity.
