Yes. Aquatic therapies can be practiced after the third month of pregnancy, with appropriate adaptations. Floating in warm water helps relieve physical tension, especially in the lower back and pelvis. The sensation of weightlessness allows the body to rest deeply while gently mobilizing the hips and sacro-iliac joints. These sessions also create a calm and supportive environment for the mother to connect with her baby.
Yes. Sessions are always adapted to your comfort level.
Some people may feel anxious about floating, putting their head under water or simply being touched in water. In these cases, the session can remain entirely at the surface.
The supportive environment of water often helps regulate emotional responses and gradually restore trust.
No swimming ability is required.
Throughout the session you are continuously supported and guided by the practitioner, ensuring safety and comfort.
The session begins with a short conversation to understand your needs, answer any questions, and ensure you feel comfortable with the experience.
You then enter the warm pool and begin floating gently at the surface with your head supported by a cushion, allowing the body to relax and settle into the water.
When you feel ready, the cushion is gradually removed. A nose clip can be provided, and the session may then include gentle, brief immersions, always adapted to each person's comfort and breathing capacity.
Throughout the session, the body is supported through slow, fluid movements and soft mobilizations, inviting deep relaxation and release.
Toward the end, the movements gradually slow down and return to gentle floating at the surface, allowing the body to integrate the experience.
After leaving the water, a quiet moment is offered to rest and reconnect, followed by the possibility to share or exchange about the experience if you wish.
